DESCRIPTION:Location:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/zYggbZK9VU4yzJMm9 \nHOW TO GET THERE:\nBased on the location I would suggest the TRAIN to Central Station and then a walk down Edward Street to the Kangaroo Point Bridge\, cross the bridge and walk to the right to the venue.\nSunset will cut directly through the new Kangaroo Point bridge looking towards the city.\nSunset will be at 17h11.  You need to be there at least 45 MINUTES TO 1 HOUR EARLIER to setup. \nCamera\, tripod\, wide angle or zoom lens.  Learn manual mode if you don’t use it already.  ND filters if you have. \nBring a picnic meal for yourself.   \n

DESCRIPTION:SUNRISE IS AT 06:38 AM.  WE NEED TO BE THERE AT LEAST 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO SET UP. \nLEAVE FOREST LAKE AT 05:00.  It is a 45 minutes to drive there on average.  Shouldn’t be too much traffic at that time. \nYou will need: \n\nCamera\nWide angle lens\nTripod\nTimer on camera or remote controller (intervalometer) to avoid camera shake\nND filters if you have (or your camera has them internally as an option)\nWet shoes or the shoes you have that can get wet\nDrinking water\nNote – no ablutions.

DESCRIPTION:About Tryg: \n \nMy name is Tryg Helander. I am a 50-year-old ex-military intelligence specialist and spent 25-years in the Royal Australian Navy. Prior to service\, I had completed a Diploma of Photography and had dreams of following my stepfather into the business of being a paid professional photographer. Being the late ’80s\, it was all darkroom based.  Fortunately\, I was able to use cameras in my military career\, due to the nature of intelligence collection.\nPost service\, I started a photography business\, which ran for 7-years and have subsequently retired from work. In that time I upgraded my skills by completing a second Diploma of Photoimaging. Additionally\, I was quite active in the professional sphere and Institute of Professional Photographers. I have now been in the amateur photography world for 5-years and have had a trial by fire! \nI am a former President of my local 116-year-old photography society\, I am the current Vice President of the Photography Society of Queensland (PSQ) and am an accredited Judge within the organization. I currently sit as the Chair of the Judges’ Executive Committee. The PSQ has 56-clubs and 50-judges within the third most populous state in Australia. \nAs a former professional photographer\, I am continually humbled by the quality of work I see from groups such as the PSA\, APS\, RPS\, etc. I have achieved my Associate honours in the APS. I am hoping to gain portfolio honours in the PSA\, in the near future.
