The Brisbane Celtic Festival is back, bringing together traditional Celtic bands, Scottish and Irish dancers, choirs and the stirring sounds of the pipes. Highlights include the Scottish Country Dancers, Scotia Highland Dancers, QIA Irish Dancers and the spectacular Massed Pipe Bands.

For photographers, there will be plenty of opportunities to capture colourful costumes, expressive faces, intricate dance movements, musicians in action and the atmosphere of a lively cultural festival.

Whether you’re keen to practise action photography, capture candid moments or simply enjoy a great day out with your camera, this is an outing with something for everyone.
